Should I go for 18x9.5s or 18x8.5s? Any advice for tire size as well?

Really torn on what set up to go for. 9.5 rims look meatier than 8.5s but I'm worried I might end up rubbing it if I lower with tein coilovers.

I can see that you're from Manila. Kamusta kababayan?

I opted to get 8.5 with an offset of 44mm and used a 5mm spacer although I should've got the 9.5 with a 38mm or more offset instead.

I think some people have ran 9.5s without any substantial rub. I’d check out Fitment Industries website and see if any 10th has 9.5s. I personally have 18x8.5 with 235/40/r18 with stock suspension though.

As long as you carefully dial in the coilovers ride height and alignment, I dont see why 9.5s wouldnt fit. Check fitment industries website as well as check the aggressive wheel and tire thread.

Mabuti naman sir hehe.

I see. I think 9.5s are more pleasing aesthetically. I'm actually digging Rota IKRs for 9.5s. looks great on civic x but I'm not sure if I can drop it with no worries. (Pic not mine)

If you’re going to use 9.5 width, a 38mm offset will make it standout. Then use a 255/35 tires.

Here’s mine on 245/40.

So would a 18x9.5 with 235/40 fit with no rubbing? And what offset is recommended
