Yes thanks Forum_Admin & Silent Sausage

Why not also add the Supplemental pdfs to the forum, and include them in the Forum Online Index.

ie the ,pdf content of Honda_SI_Manual.zip
(SM-70.pdf to SM-75.pdf and add those Links to the Index page

( see https://www.civicx.com/threads/service-manual-for-10th-gen-civic-si-type-r-fc1-fc2-fc3-fc4-fk4-fk7-fk8.46297/#post-759318 )

Also, add the content of
Honda_SI_Manual.zip
to the Download.zip link, and then remove
Honda_SI_Manual.zip
from the page as it is now redundant

Then it is ALL online, with the option to Download ALL to run Offline if wanted.

==============
Also, this Forum Online Index page would be an ideal place to put a link to
https://unknowntransportation.com:8443/Service/Civic/

This really goes hand-in-hand with the Service Manual, and provided access to Honda's Service Guide.

Together this "Honda SERVICE GUIDE" and the existing "SERVICE Manual" provide a unique source of Technical information on the CivicX Forum.

Also, FYI all TSB's (techinical service bulletins) and MC's (manufacturer's communications) for the USA were (all) recently made available at nhtsa.gov Not the easiest site to use for people outside the USA, but worth a browse if you want to know what issues are being experienced by CivicX (A/C condensor failure being the latest, and subject to a warranty extension ...) You can also see what complaints about the car have been received by NHTSA

WHERE ??
I carefully checked out the website https://www.nhtsa.gov/ from here in the USA.

I could find no sigh of any Honda "TSB's (technical service bulletins) and MC's (manufacturer's communications) for the USA"

There was 1 recall, for a very few GenX Civic Vins with a Steering Issue.. but nothing about any of the TSBs for (example) The A/C Condenser issue TSBs

I also find it a little unlikely, that the nhtsa.gov website would have TSBs for all, or any car manufacturers ..

Here's one of the news articles that covered the court decision; the article also has instructions on how to access the ridiculously-weird nhtsa website better than I could explain. Lots of clicks to get to each TSB's pdf ..

I still do not see TSB;s on the nhtsa's website. While there may be mentions of them, but the full viewable TSB is NOT on the site, and is therefore not viewable there.

Have you actually yourself seen TSB in full there .. if so, please post a link to one of them :)

Here is a random one for early CivicX: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2017/MC-10119583-9999.pdf

Under each "Manufacturer's Communication," one then has to go to the "Associated document" and download the pdf to get the TSB (or a pdf of the email to dealers, etc.) I see no way to get to just the TSB's, but I didn't look for a way to do so either.

I think I have " finally" found a way to find ALL the Honda TSBs -- but it was like pulling teeth.

Start from: https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Technical-Service-Bulletin/2018/Honda/Civic

The key to finding the HONDA TSB's on the NHTSA website, is to use https://www.aboutautomobile.com which has a far better SEARCH, and looks like it finally takes you to the NHTSAB website for the actual TSB, finding the one you want far more easily than searching on the NTSB website

You can go all the way back to just https://www.aboutautomobile.com for any car, or select your car on this site and you have the option to have the site REMEMBER you car for next time.

So, for me with a 2019 Civic Si, I can also save a link to https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Technical-Service-Bulletin/2018/Honda/Civic and start from there

From here, say I am interested in the "Dreaded A/C Fiasco" and it's TSBs, select Engine and Engine Cooling

This then list all the Dealer Message, Customer Letters AND TSBs. making it very clear which are TSBs, with brief description of the TSB

ie

A19-038
NHTSA Number:10161643
TSB Date:June 18, 2019
Date Added to File:June 25, 2019
Failing Component:Engine And Engine Cooling
Summary:
Service bulletin - under certain circumstances, the vehicle may experience driveability issues, which may result in DTCs P0300 (random misfire detected), P0301 (no. 1 cylinder misfire detected), P0302 (no. 2 cylinder misfire detected), p030
Discuss it at Forum View This TSB
View the TSB and there it is :

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10161643-0001.pdf to the correct link to view the TSB, but you have got there, and found the TSB you are looking for, far more easily than the Clumsy and inefficient search on the NHTSA website.

So, for me, all I have to do is keep a bookmark of https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Technical-Service-Bulletin/2018/Honda/Civic and I am good to find any TSB, (or Dealer Message or Customer letter) for my car .

================================================

JUST NOTICED -- Even better -- If the TSB description mentions an Engine Code, they are LINKS to details about those codes .. VERY COOL !!!

ie P0302 in the description
is a link to that engine code P0302 at https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Diagnostic-Trouble-Code/P0302

Good to see it archived elsewhere than that site. I used it recently to locate the grounds in my Type R for testing.

Esteemed forum. I downloaded all the files, but when prompted to enter the password it doesn't seem to like it. I've tried it lower case, upper case, every combination including with and without parenthesis. Could it have changed or is this common failure here me. Many, many thanks also for this being posted as I am definitely one who wants to keep the car for a long time and this is gold.

Note that there are asterisks on each end of *CivicX*. They are part of the password.

Florida Frank, thanks most kindly. My eyesight is going obviously as I thought they were quotation marks. This is just brilliant. Many thanks to all for their efforts with this and to Silent Sausage for finding this and making it available. Brilliant!
