I purchased a 27won shift knob from member Marcopolo, and was wondering if those of you who have purchased aftermarket shift knobs kept or sold your OEM one? I plan on keeping the car for 4 years or more.

I have like 4 or 5 knobs and I don't plan on selling the OEM one. I mean, how much are you going to get for it? Unless you really need the money, I'd say keep it.

I've seen people selling them for $100, if I sold it for $80 it would be like getting the 27won knob for free.

Keep it and if you sell the car to upgrade to next gen or whatever you can use your aftermarket knobs. Even if the thread is a different size they sell adapters.

What? You have seen stock Si shift knobs selling for $100 bucks? Not the CTR knob the Si OEM knob for $100. I think you can probably get one from Honda for cheaper than that?

Here's one for $130:

https://www.ebay.com/p/1523002766?i...zjC9W9YbLl_QH3QtG7ZOSwiGXx_aLEOsaAt2MEALw_wcB

And one for $100:

Genuine Honda 6 Speed Shift Knob
Used - In great condition. Originally on a 2017 Civic SI
Asking $100 obo

And one for $80:

2020 Civic Si leather knob (shows sign of use, in good condition overall) $80.00 shipped

I'd sell mine for less:)
Those are asking prices... lets see if they sell. Anyone who pays more than $50 for a used Si knob is a knob.

edit: just noticed that guy asking $130 is also charging $50 for shipping for a whopping total of $180 for an Si shift knob

The prices seem high to me as well, but apparently people are willing to pay that much or close to it. I'd probably sell mine for $70 (it's a month old).
