Sealing our side markers?

Hello all. I've received this morning my side markers I'm so pumped at the moment. But one thing scares me a lot is all the ''bad'' reputation some of them can have with the condensation inside the markers. So I was wondering before installing them. Is there anything I can do to ''seal'' the markers around? Any experience with that? And I bought them on Amazon btw. I've read a thread somewhere on the forum and a lot of people were buying from there (because they are backorder everywhere too)

Just get some clear RTV silicone and use a gloved finger to spread a thin bead around the entire circumference on the seam.

XFactor LOCA or Bondic UV glue and a UV flashlight.

pour some 91% or greater isopropyl alcohol into the housing and swirl it around, see if it bleeds out anywhere. If it does, that area is a leak. Touch the outside of that seam with some UV glue and let it flow a bit before blasting it with the UV light.

Then pour more alcohol to see if you got it. High percentage alcohol is nice because if you leave it in the sun, it'll just dry out. Use low percentage, and it'll leave water in your light. Use water and it might leave streaks.

Which brand did you get? I snagged the iJDMTOY one's and just installed them on a shitty winter day and haven't had a drop of condensation inside. (Watch itll probably happen now that i mention it )

I sealed mine with clear gorilla glue. Over 2 years and no issues at all.
