So, I was a humongous idiot. Took my beloved Civic EX-T coupe for a car wash and was using the self-use vacuum to clean the inside. Stupidly, I decided to run the vacuum over the touch screen without checking to see if the nozzle was rubberized.
Later, when the sunlight hit my touchscreen, I was shocked to discover that the vacuum had left multiple long scratches all across the screen. They're very noticeable even without direct sunlight
Touch screen function hasn't been impacted yet, but damn, it looks bad.
I've scheduled an appointment with my dealership to see what they can do to fix it. I have a strong suspicion that they're going to recommend a screen replacement.
Does anyone have any idea how much that would cost me?
