Good choice. I would sell now in a heartbeat if I didn't intend to keep this car long term. Even stealerships are offering stupid money for certain trade ins.

My SGP is my dd and near identical miles. Have considered selling but nothing better to buy at the moment.

992 911’s are hard to come by. Might wait as these prices cannot last...

Just sold mines today to CarMax. Surprisingly they offered more than the dealerships I checked.

Had a dream I sold mine, then bought a 2023 and cried myself to sleep every night.

Woke up with cold sweats.

This is enough sports car for me - I like the platform and beyond a Ferrari 812, there’s nothing I desire on the market from a direct purchase standpoint. I plan to pay mine off and grab an LX 2500HD diesel as a long haul family hauler and winter daily afterwards. If life gives you the opportunity, take it. Everyone’s situations are different and there’s nothing better than achieving your goals whether it’s paying a car off or selling to trade up without losing a lot of cash in the process.

I think these dealerships are making a mistake paying out as much as they are for these used. They seem just as much caught up in this car frenzy as everyone else.

When things settle, supply catches up, and people generally calm the fuck down, there may be some losses taken on these used ones that sat on lots with new car sticker asking prices on them after paying close to that to the previous owner.

Good time to sell, awful time to buy.....yet I got the brilliant idea in my head that I need a used Lexus GX in my driveway soon and have started the hunt among the other feral car buyers I usually laugh at  humans are irrational creatures sometimes.

Always count on a dealership to do the dumbest possible thing they can do, it is as certain as death and taxes.

Man, I forgot all about this thread. The prices of the 992s have skyrocketed out of control, by the time I was looking for one, so that just wasn't something I was willing to entertain. Dealers literally asking $20k-$30K over for these cars.

I'll take one at MSRP, unfortunately, after months of looking for an allocation, and every Porsche dealer I called, asking me if I already owned a Porsche, and that their allocations were reserved for their current customers, it was going nowhere for me.

I ended up ordering the next best thing in my eyes. And I ordered it for MSRP, and got a 0.9% for 60. 2022 xDrive M4 Competition. I've had since October of 21, and I now have 5,800 miles on it. Full body PPF. Feynlab ceramic coated. Formula One Stratos tint. Dragy numbers, 0-60 in 3.07, 1/4 in 11.23@ 122.6. Car is stock. Has every box checked for options. MSRP $116,560 with tax and tags. $8,400 in PPF, Ceramic, and Tint.

Possibly, but I think since the day I created the thread, I wasn't even thinking about this car, until it became available to me, in July of 21 to order. In which the real happy day, wasn't until October, when I took delivery.

Included is about $9,000 in sales tax, and licensing fees. Tags were about $1,080, alone.

Honestly, I drove it, about an hour ago, and never once thought about my CTR. :confused1:
