S2000 shift knob installed

I liked my ap2 shift knob quite a bit that it was smaller and heavier. Luckily I had a friend who had one laying around.

I like it more than stock and plan to extend the threads on the stock shifter to get this to sit lower.

Due to its weight I find shifts to be much easier and pronounced.

I wanna see someone try the NSX-R shift knob on a CTR. The yellow lettering won't match but the size is same as the OEM shift knob and it is heavier.

For me i didnt like the size of the oem knob. I thought it was too big. So far i love s2000 knob besides it being a tad higher.

The 2020 shift knob will screw on right. But it’ll sit higher than intended on the shifter due to the changes Honda made to the shifter for 2020 (shorter throw in the actual shifter and shift knob nut).

I put the type R shift knob on and though you can't see it here, I cut 1 inch off the threads to allow it to sit lower. Shifts beautifully and the feel matches that of the Titanium shift Knobs in my 01 & 05 S2000's.

Black/red leather shift boots can be found in the 2017-2019 Type R and 2017-2020 Si

20-21 CTR comes with the suede boot

Nice interior mod with the carbon fiber trim piece in front of the shifter and the plate. May I ask where you purchased the carbon fiber trim piece? Does it sit over the OEM piano black trim piece?
