My r660 just arrived,I'm in China and want to use 98 gasoline, similar to 93. hjsdown pipe, milltek exhaust, prl intercooling, radium breathable pot are Already installed on my fl5.I want to reach about 450 horsepower. The quality of gasoline in China is not good. What fuel system do I need to upgrade?Hondata fuel system is too expensive.

If you aren’t gonna run any blend of ethonal all you need is a xdi fuel pump

More power for cheap isn't a good combination. Hondata and other fuel systems are around the same ballpark range. Get ready to spend atleast 2500 for a kit. Or if you're lucky you'll find someone who is selling their fuel system for cheap. But I wouldn't buy a used fuel system.

PRL intercooler is a little small but should work OK for 450whp

You'll need at least xdi pump and a modified high pressure line from JSR

https://www.jsrengines.com/product/...re-fuel-line-service-fk8-civic-and-cv2-accord

Anything past 400whp should be using that high pressure line really as the stock line is a major fuel restriction.

If you plan to really lean on the turbo and rev the motor high you'll need bigger injectors to keep up. Fuel mods will cost you more than power mods when you add it up 😆 until you go major mods but for 500whp the fuel mods are not cheap and for 600+whp it's even more.

if hes diy savy, he can drill the fuel line himself. No need to purchase a modified fuel line from jsr to achieve 400whp without turbo upgrade. Save $350

I'm running 500whp with diy fuel drilled line. Without countersinking the hole.

Use a 5/64 bit to drill the oem high pressure line, spray the inside of the high pressure line with brake cleaner from the other end. Use compressed air to blow out any debris from drilling.

Optional is using a 50 degree counter sink once you drilled that line. Gives better results. But to achieve 400-500whp its not necessary.

The service is $125
Considering the time, tools and testing done most guys would rather let JSR do it right vs doing it themselves and making a mistake, having to buy a new line, multiple drill bits etc. to save a few bucks. Their taper also varies by setup/injectors/hpfp as well. Not a one size all type of service thanks to their testing.

Carefully check the line that goes to the bypass valve for leaks. It really fragile and if you use a tool like pliers to remove it it could have a pin hole that will cause that code. We usually replace the line or cut off the last inch or so for a fresh connection.
Does anyone know the part number for this tube? I had the same error code pop-up.

didn't even see you post here...
my bad bruh!

also - @RV6; do we have a timeline we're trying to hit for the first housing orders? Just wondering as I'd like to make sure I schedule some other things around the same time to make the best use of my downtime.

thanks!

I ended up bypassing the solenoid ( run a line directly to intake manifold from the diverter valve, haven’t had the issue return since it was sporadic.

no leaks were found and no issues from it… vehicle building boost without any hiccups now, driven it for about 2000miles plus continuously on a long roadtrip and can drove flawlessly.

This is what mine sounds like. Is it normal?

it is a known issue, but as stated I would verify that you indeed do not have any sort of leak in the lines and if all checks out, I would run a vacuum line directly as I stated above.

It must be something with either the delay of the RV6 diverter valve that the ECU cannot pickup on on certain releases of pressure from turbo as it does not happen all the time. This code does not cause any harm to anything aside from not building boost and car defaults to limp mode ( no boost is built as a safety precaution which you then have to delete the code until it returns), with running it directly I have no seen the fault return and have full boost pressure.

Keep us posted on what you find and if the issue fixes with the new line you purchased.

A fine leak is also plausible and has happened as well, so just double check everything and if nothing works, run it directly to manifold, it will take care of that fault from returning.

Fyi it does sound normal and boost being released, but hard to fully say off a sound clip. The sound clip has a slight hissing sound that seems like a leak, but if that was the case you wouldn’t be able to build any boost, and the fault would always be on all the time.

Yeah. It seems to have a flutter sound so I wasnt sure if that was normal or not.

RV6 diverter valve does have that flutter sound and depending on the inlet pipe and intake you have it may sound louder than others.
