There are already too many vendors making items for the Type R that have pushed products on owners before their product was well and truly tested. I realize that Kevin has been racing with the catless downpipe extensively, but has the catted version been subjected to similar scrutiny?

We learned early on that it is problems are much harder to contain once the product is in the hands of the customer. That is why we do our best to shake down parts before releasing to the public. Being a company that actaully picks up the phone when customers call. We really definitely want everything to be 100% before shipping.

Race cars generally do not run cats. However we went out of our way to have these cats custom manufactured for high temperature use. Our cats are made of a OEM grade Fecralloy foil which holds up much better compared to your standard aftermarket off the shelf stainless foil. According to the catalyst manufacture you won't find a higher temperature foil. However they did warn that over fueling from a poorly running engine can melt anything. The downside is that these cores are more expensive, have long lead times and large minimum orders.

That one is for the Accord which has its primary O2 sensor in the turbo.

I could be horribly wrong, but pretty sure since they are just finishing them now, they need to be coated still and that takes a while and then shipped out. So I think we are looking at end of July shipped?

They will be shipping to ceramic coating. Hopefully they can turn it around in about 10-14 days.
