RV6 said it wasn't necessary. A coupe pple have this kit and don't need it. I suppose it has to do with how close to OEM this is. Essentially this is OEM. More of OEM+.

I'm hoping to get this kit installed in the next few weeks and I'm keeping my stock CMC. I'll give an update once I do.
I cannot comment.
I installed mine altogether and at once so if it did cause an issue, I wouldnā€™t know.
I did do the Hybrid racing detention springs and I am a fan!
Between the clutch and all the supporting stuff, this little clutch and trans are buttery smooth!

I couldn't find the response that RV6 posted when someone asked. Personally, I'd wait and see if you need it. At least that's what I'm doing. If I was getting any other kit, I'd probably would have. This kit is so well crafted and engineered by RV6 to have an OEM quality and feel that I doubt it's required. Unless RV6 chimes in or others who didn't swap it out after the install.

Did you go with the KzCMC?

Nice!
If I get any lockout, I'll pick that up. Hopefully I don't experience any lockout though. lol
Honestly, if youā€™re taking the trans out, you may as well do the whole shot on the work bench! Be way easier and a few minutes of work in retrospect.
You probably donā€™t want to pull that trans out Only to discover its locking out on you.
May as well do the slave valve delete too.
Just my two cents.

Acuity told me they donā€™t make their own because it increases wear on the trans. Do these reduce lateral (side-to-side) shifter play when itā€˜s in gear?

Possible to get a video? If itā€™s too much to ask, NP at all. Thanks, though! Iā€™m looking for something that will eliminate in-gear lateral movement of the shifter. I have the 2020 CTR shifter + Acuity stage 2 kit.

I actually have the exact same setup in my shifter.
I will try to take a video for you tomorrow.
Iā€™m holing up my new radio tomorrow at my brothers.
I will try like hell to remember.

They don't eliminate lateral movement in gear as much as they make shifts return to center more. Much harder to money shift

I found the Hybrid shifter assembly eliminated the movement you're thinking about. Acuity full assembly does the same

Yup, I found the Acuity Stage 2 setup with 2020 CTR shifter still had too much play. Acuity stage 3 is where it's at!

I have also been impatiently waiting. Ordered mine at the beginning of may.
Update: I got it installed finally! It feels great! Exactly how I think this car should have come off the lot. It is a little springy and a little stiff still, but I did a tiny pull and yes! 100 percent, if youā€™re on the fence you should buy this product. Thank you to Tom from RV6 for dropping by and lending some knowledge during the install. Extremely satisfied customer here!
