RV6 Catless DP+FP Combo

Was hoping to purchase this next summer but with the way things are going with the EPA looks like I'm gunna have to get my hands on one sooner than expected. Was planning on getting the PRL catless combo but TSP just sold their last one last night/today. They also said RV6 will be discontinuing their catless downpipes but haven't given a date yet. I want to pull the trigger but looks like everyone goes with a high flow cat. I don't have to worry about emissions checking up on me but I am just curious if that is the only reason people go with the catted version other than the oder and sound difference.

Due to the EPA making it illegal for them to even manufacture I think? I ordered the RV6 because Corey from TSP said he thinks they’re better than PRL’s but there is a 4-6 week wait.
