Wow! That blue looks good! I like the white too but it's too typical. Now I have to see which one the wife likes lol. Thanks!!
You talking about the wheel color? Confused as wife here has blue and white ones she likes better than me too...hmmmm.

I like the white ones better over the blues. The blues just look too strong. I'm not sure what color they would go with the best. Maybe CW?

Yeah I mean the wheel color. I like that blue. But also blue is one of my favorite colors haha

I think the blue could work well and I'm leaning towards it, just slightly toned down. I've been working with a friend of mine who is a graphic designer to get the shade of blue I'm looking for

That may be the case, but since the manufacturer was saying these were custom made for the type r I'm wondering why they didnt choose to use the stock offset .My understanding was that most of the rims in this bolt pattern were produced for bmw's and thus with a -40 offset.

RSR & Tek,
It’s called close enough for horseshoes and R wheels by everyone but R owners maybe.
OEM 20” wheels have ET 60 so the slightly neg/zero scrub radius is maintained.

It’s not easy to make a wheel in 18” ET 60 without looking odd plus it’d take non-std machinery. The latter is why only ET 60 are from previous Honda/Acura cars and not exactly as stock.

I am pushing over 400hp@eng, dyno’d 370 WHP on TSW 19x9.5 riding 255/35s ET41 w/Eibach Pros. Even though I have gone 18mm positive scrub radius, it’s significant, more when pressed hard, not too far from dangerous if accel sharply in apex. Pulls wheel pretty hard, trying to rip it away and sling you off course. I realize it’s a compromise but I agree w/Tek.

If you say made especially for Type R, make them match OEM or minimal pos scrub in three diameters and these offsets, 20” ET 60, 19” ET 55, and 18” ET 50. Now your close to insignificant even on my mid-powered mod’d R.

Without you driving to get feel, this 19 mm it’ll be OK won’t matter if you’re a straight line commuter, or don’t approach traction limits. Even with mine in 19 & +41 it can be a struggle, can get worse in 18” wET 40, prolly couldn’t tell diff. 18-19mm pos scrub is good bit f XC off thank nuetral/zero offset. You’re adding to the problem calling ordinary (like other wheel companies) specialized when it’s just bolt pattern and verified brake clearance that separate them from otherbrands same size.

I’d have considered RSR specially made R wheels if they actually something special instead of ordinary with verified brake clearance. Maybe in your next-Gen (RSR 1005 Type R 19x 9.5@ ET 55-60?

FYI got four RSR 702s year ago new and cheap, 19x9.5 ET40. Sold unusedunopened for no profit/loss, buyer paid $50 ea shop FL-TX, liked TSW look better, all gunmetal vs chrome mix.

Bottom line: Recommend you make real OEM matching wheels to sell more.

I think the problem with this is you have that much power but you're only running 255. front tire profile is very important for FWD cars esp when you have so much torque you should be running minimum 285's to maximize all that power I'm running 285's on 10.7 +50 upfront with ps4s and I still spin the wheels on stock power torque steer? very very minimal o

Rub? Must at that width.
What wheels are 10.7 ET50?
Agree with traction but not into rolling fenders.
Widest stock height was 265/35-19 without possible rub, I dropped .8-1” to get flush tuck.

Attachment show stock wheel 1, yours (10.5”w though) as wheel 2, only +5 pos scrub acceptable.

My bad I'm running 10.7 Titan 7 ts5 with +55 but I had to put 5mm spacers so it doesn't rub on the stock strut body bracket.. other than that no rubbing even on comfort mode I'm on stock suspension. I'm planning on lowering the car with eibach or spoon I just need to get camber adjusters upfront so I don't rub
