Hello, I think that I have finally decided what wheels to get for my Black 2017 Coupe Touring!

RPF1 In silver.

By searching around a bit, I have determined that I should probably get the 18x8.5 + 40.
If anyone has any experience with this fitment I would love to know what size tires to run, and if I'm going to have any rubbing issues. Also if I'm going to notice any speedometer or driving differences.

If you have these wheels, please post pictures! Thanks.

A good tire size is 235/40r18 or 245/40r18. The Si uses 235/40r18 on the stock wheels.

Thanks for the info.

So since 235 is stock for Si I would most likely not rub at all on that?

Also, if anyone has any input on torque steer and speedometer differences please chime in!

If you are on stock suspension, you will not even be close to rubbing. Really you would only have to worry about rubbing if you run eibach sportlines, D2 springs, or a similar drop spring and a more aggressive offset. Examples being sportline springs with a 18x8.5 +30 and a 245/40r18 tire would likely rub. Your wheel specs are very conservative and I can confidently say that you will not rub.

You are all good. I have Enkei NT03 18x8.5 +38. Running 235/40. You won’t rub. That is not an overly aggressive fitment.

BUT, here is something I will tell you. The 18x8.5 is not going to give you a concave look that you may be looking for. With Enkei at least you really need to go to 18x9.5 to get the classic concave look. The pictures you see on the internet or Enkei site are minimum 9.5 width wheel. Just so you are 100% aware. Obviously an 18x9.5 wil

RPF1 is good choice and lightweight wheels made the most noticeable difference of any mod other than ECU tuning.

Thank you everyone! I think I'm going to go with 18x8.5 +40 with 235/40's. Now I've got to decide which tires to get! I'm thinking some nice summer tires since I'm going to keep the oems for winter.
