The OEM wheels are made by Hitachi P/N 42700-TGH-A92 they are a dealer cost of around $725 dollars, i went to my local dealer who actually quoted me $1160 not sure if that included the tire but the Conti 6 is as many of you know $320 roughly.

Continuing on: Honda under the 2017 Honda Civic Type R tab they offer another wheel which according to the European 2015 Type R Fk2 winter tire manual should is an OEM wheel designed to fit the fk2 (it clears the brembo kit basically) and should fit the FK8 i am 99% confident (because why else would it be under the american honda tab)

that part number is P/N 42700-TV8-E81 which is an Enkei (with MAT) and a 18x8 (unfortunately no price is shown for that wheel it requires calling customer service which won't help much if you're calling Honda Racing, but your local dealer parts department may be able to help you!
The 42700-TV8-E81 winter wheel lists for $760.84 retail each. The dealer net is confidential so I'm not releasing that. Of course you can order them from online sources less than retail ($594 range). The dealer cost you quote for the 20" is more than the actual dealer net I'm seeing so that's with some markup no doubt. Full retail of that OEM wheel is $1079.63 each (no tire). College Hills Honda sells them for $842.11 each.

FK2? Or FD2? This wheel doesn't even have the correct bolt pattern...

When you filter out all 50 mm off-
set wheels, you can see only 5 wheels. The GTC01RR is very nice!

Nice to see lots of affordable Enkei and OZ 18" options for potential winter use.

Interesting that they recommend 18x8.5 +35 rather than 18x9 +50 for the RS05RR.

As many are aware that wheel was specifically designed to work with that Dual axis strut suspension. Accomplishing virtually no torque steer through a low scrub/near 0 scrub radius. If you drastically change your wheels Offset from OEM you will effectively change the front suspension geometry, this may or may not result in a decrease in its handling capability. If you have any questions on the effects of scrub radius please watch this video .
Exactly! Hard to say how much it might affect things like torque steer or steering feel, but it definitely will have some effect. Weigh whether or not you want "hella flush" for looks or want to keep it closer to OE offset for performance. You can also go wider (like a 9.5) and fill some of the frontspace to the fender and maintain a higher offset than trying to fill that gap by only pushing out the offset on the 8.5 width.

Lastly, I do not believe the OEM "Y" spoke NSX wheel will fit the FK8 CTR because i believe it has a different bolt pattern(5x114.3 vs 5x120) but that wheel spec is 19x8.5 ET50 and it is indeed Forged by SAI (SuperAlloy Industries) if anyone was curious.
The factory NSX (2nd gen) wheel is 5/120, but the hub bore is 70.1 so would need a hub ring to bring it down to 64.1. It should clear the brakes too without issue as it is lower offset and the NSX has more brake overhang than the CTR.
