After posting the above, I decided to give Torque Detail Mirror Shine a go.

I’m a big fan of Collinite 245, but I recently opened a new bottle and I haven’t been very happy with it. It left a haze that would stubbornly come back after it sat in the sun for a couple of days, and didn’t seem to give the luster it usually does.

Enter Torque detail. I followed the directions and so far I’m happy with the results. The liquid goes on easy, does a great job of removing water spots and other blemishes, and wipes off easier than the Collinite.

The only issue with it is over-spray. It tends to go everywhere, and when the beads dry they leave white lumps that are hard to remove.

I’ll post an update to let you know how it holds up. Collinite lasted a good 90 days in the Ohio weather. This claims up to 6 months.

Regarding the haze you get with Collinite, that's pretty common. I read somewhere that it's a result of oils coming to the surface. I've had this happen to me a few days after Collinite 845 application. I just do a normal car wash and the haze disappears and doesn't return.

I’ll give that a try next time. I really like how it protects, and winter is coming.

I use the liquid form of NuFinish to superb effect. They say on the bottle that it's "no buff required" which is a load of crap; I apply with a damp rag, let it dry to a haze, then buff out with glass-rated paper towels. Beads water like crazy and lasts several months in Illinois weather.

I use their scratch remover polish. Great stuff.

I'm in CBus too, I live out in Dublin.
The decal came from Ebay. I think it really makes the lines pop and pays tribute to some of the graphics found on previous generations of Si.

Neat! I'm in Dublin also actually.

Got a link to that sticker?
