Rev9 Intercooler

No problem on my end. I have a full bolt on Si Sedan with an FX350 clutch, E40 flex fuel and the 27Won turbo.

There are some people here that have installed a Rev9 intercooler on their car. Nobody has posted any complaints yet. Can anybody that has this intercooler post a review? It is less than half price of others.

No doubt it is a great deal. I love the Mishimoto black intercooler, however, is it $313.50 better!?

Oh I assumed you were talking about the $400 kit on eBay since the PRL kit is $800 and the injen is like 6 without piping I think so probably about 8 with piping.

*Just went on ebay and thought they had full kits for $400 with piping. Was able to find a different brand for 250 for just the IC and the rev9 was 400 for IC only.

Where did you buy the IC? Also I was mistaken by the mishimoto ad. Says intercooler and piping kit but then when you read the description it says it comes with adapters for stock piping and that it is compatible with stock piping... I assumed you were getting the full meal deal for that $515

I was wondering the same thing about this intercooler.

Looks like the user who just had his Si tuned with a 27WON Turbo at Churches said he had no issues after numerous Dyno pulls. I believe he even said the tuner said it did fine aswell.... Not sure on temps but I assume good?

Wondering if piping is really even needed and if a cheaper bolt on intercooler would be just fine for a bolt on car if it's doing well with (2) 27WON Turbo applications it appears? One with stock piping and one with Injen?

Shoot if you can get it for $250 that might be a good option for alot of people.

Gives you room to pick your intercooler piping kit if you would like to add on as the user above did∆......Under $500 for a full kit that is working well is solid.

Looks like PRL raised their prices recently aswell?

Only real reason I want the charge pipe is for the NPT bung for water/meth. Although there is the 15$ deal from frozenboost or whatever that you can use to add a bung to a silicone coupler/tube I could always try to stuff in the stock popping somewhere
