That is exactly why I want to get rid this rebranded Rev9 IC. I feel I am ripped off badly.

We only have PRL IC kit in Indonesia, which costs USD 850. I can understand PRL kit cost though. USD 850 + USD 250 shipping+ 10% tax & the workshop is making about USD 100 before installation cost, which is decent.
Well at least your IC does what you need it too. You still saved money vs getting PRL. You saved $500 USD. Use that $500 USD to upgrade your charge pipes or get a nice downpipe

well this make sense, buying this chinese intercooler for $800+ is completely senseless, really sorry to hear you got in this insane price.

damn you spent so much on rev9 intercooler, i got it from aliexpress directly n brought it with someone from Shanghai. i got it for $250.
I didn’t know about this buddy. I wish I knew.

I’m thinking of getting PRL billet intercooler without the charge pipe just to get rid of Rev9 and feel better. Plan to sell the Rev9 IC USD 250 locally.

Big charge pipe doesn’t matter as I’m only using stock SI turbo and tune the car with 21 psi peak boost.

Change those pesky HC pipes i just installed the CNT pipes what a difference 78/89 degrees 3% humidity went from 123/124 degrees stationary to 88/89 degrees same position. A 5min drive seen my IAT temp hit 79/81 Thats without the Bumper 44/50 mph straight run tbc
Are you on stock turbo to see those lowered temps with upgraded charge pipes?

This is dimension of Rev9 intercooler & I had double check with my intercooler. The difference is approx. +/- 1 mm.

BMS intercooler may have same dimension but the core quality of BMS might be better. I cannot compare because I don’t have access to BMS intercooler.
Bms is definitely much thicker. Ill measure it when I get time.

No turbo lag with this larger intercooler? Idk if it’ll make our little stock turbo work harder
Larger intercooler won't make the turbo work harder, but the more volume to fill, the more lag you have. Now, if an IC has a lot of pressure drop, then that will definitely make the turbo work harder. Unfortunately that info can be tough to come by.

honestly notice no difference as far as lag goes. but due to the rubber part of the charge pipe coming out of the turbo i have filmed that hose expanding a bit in boost so replacing charge pipes or at very least that rubber piece will make a difference.
