Rev hang

At what rpm does rev hang kick in? I am having a hard time pin pointing the exact number. I've read anything above 4000rpm but I've also read no rev hang until above 5000rpm. I'm having a difficult time pin pointing the exact rpm when revs begin to hang when in 1-2-and sometimes 3rd gear. Anybody? Or at least an estimate..

It hangs pretty much everywhere.

I don't think there is a specific rpm that rev hang applies to. It will just be more pronounced the higher your rpm is. Best way I've found to address it is with CDV Delete and KTuner Rev Hang Disable with Standard Padding.

Does KTuner Rev Hang Disable with Standard Padding do the trick by itself without also doing the CDV delete?

Yes, but doing the CDV delete will help just a little bit more with the rev hang. I did the CDV delete first and noticed rev hang improved slightly.

It depends on too many factors to really nail down (% of throttle applied before shift, ect) and answer in any meaningful way.

It's really just based on how hard you are pressing the gas pedal. When you are flooring it there will be a lot of rev hang.
