Picked up my new daily driver on New Years Eve (dec 31st 2020) to provide reliable transportation for the next few years and give my other project a rest from daily driven duties.
I started looking for a sport sedan with the 2.0 Naturally Aspirated port injected motor and the 6 speed manual transmission as I felt it would be the most reliable and longest lasting way to get a 10th Gen Civic for a daily driver I planned on keeping for many years.
It was surprisingly harder than expected to locate a sport sedan with a 6MT but luckily one popped up at a dealer only 7 miles away in a color I liked after looking for a couple months.
Even though it’s my daily driver, I can’t keep any car stock so I plan on doing a few modifications to make it more my own.
I do not plan on doing any motor work as the 2.0 isn’t the platform for that, however I plan on suspension, interior and exterior cosmetic modifications.
Figured I should start now and post the progress as it happens this year ???
The first modifications for me was to tint the back and side windows (all 15%) as well as vinyl wrapping the chrome window trim. I also used vinyl wrap to black out the front turn signal marker.
