Hello everyone,

I am documenting the progress up to the end of getting my former 2015 Civic Si wheels restored and recoated to match my 2020 SGP Hatch. I will post photos and journal anything I come across. I built a powder oven recently, so I will be coating them myself. Here are photos up to this point below:

Seems like a colossal waste of time to me. Those wheels are pretty heavy, and 1/2" narrower than the stock Sport/Sport Touring Hatch, and Si wheels. With countless choices in aftermarket wheels available, I have to ask "why"!?

I agree, they are narrower and very heavy. But, for a dedicated set of Winter wheels, they are perfect! I also want to learn to powder coat from start to finish. Plus, I had them on hand from my previous vehicle.

Finished powder-coating all 4 wheels this weekend! I will be installing P Zero Nero GT tires on them, as I had them sitting from my previous Civic. The center caps have an orange fill too!
