Resetting the maintenance minder?

My Civic was approaching 6k miles, so I decided to rotate the tires. Then I went to write it down on the owner's manual and saw that this was a maintenance minder item. So, I went to reset the MM for the rotation, but when it asked me to confirm it showed the oil life as well. Will resetting the tires in the MM also reset the oil? I wound up getting free oil changes, but they will only do it if the MM light is on, so I don't want to reset that early. I also don't want to not reset the tire rotation and have them rotated too early.

Sorry if I wasn't being clear about my question. If I go to reset anything in the MM, the confirmation window pops up with the oil life displayed. I want to reset the tire rotation counter only, NOT oil life. Everything I've seen has people resetting the whole thing.

Then it will most likely reset the whole thing. Otherwise it would probably ask to confirm resetting the tire rotation only.
