Howdy Threadsters,

I'm surprised there hasn't been an aftermarket replacement for the coolant reservoir yet. To me, even with all the chaos going on in the engine bay, the biggest eyesore is that ugly yellowish tank.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement?
Thanks CivicX players!

Unno if it may fit, but not listed.

It looks the same from the one on the ctr, but you are right, it doesn’t mention it anywhere. I would say order it on Amazon and if it doesn’t fit then return it ? just an idea.

I personally wouldn't trust a mishimoto pressure cap if my life depended on it though, so many issues over the years from their stuff.

Also pretty expensive piece of dress-up that might fit.

That’s true, I got one for my ctr last year for Black Friday sale for cheap since my stock one started cracking and was starting to leak a bit, but I put back the stock cap on the mishimoto. The tank looks good and is very well build but if you can get it for cheaper it might be more justified.

Maybe I just won't pop my hood anymore...
I love the car and performance, but the engine bay gives me nightmares...
Call me old fashioned, but coming from a 6th Gen Civic, the 10th Gen is a cluster and a half...

+1 for not trusting Mishimoto stuff. Their crap radiator popped a leak and was enough to have me overheat at VIR and blow my E36 M3's headgasket.

Yeah their warranty is great but at what cost? I get a free radiator replacement with little hassle but the cost is still a blown headgasket and all of its associated crap and hours of labor

I mean, you're not wrong. My last engine bay was naked by comparison. As little time as I spend with the hood popped tho, am not stressing it.

Yup, as cheap as Koyo's gotten in price nowadays, no reason to cheap out. Never had a problem once I ditched the Mishi stuff.
