I am interested in going black on my hatchback window trim, but I don't want to dip them. I have seen mention that the Sport black window trim will fit, so I have a few questions for anyone with experience/knowledge:

1) Will the Sport black window trim fit on an EX?
2) If so, what are the part numbers? (i've spent too much time on bernardiparts trying to figure this out, mercy!)
3) are those trim pieces difficult to remove?

Thanks for any help!

Thats why I dipped mine. Wanted to do the all around replacement until I saw the cost.

I was quoted $300 for a vinyl wrap by a shop here in my area. In comparision to my BMW, the trim on that car would cost well over $1000.

I thought about dipping it, but I wanted GLOSS black not matte/rubbery black especially since the b pillar was gloss.

If you use a few coats of glossifier it looks ok, but the bottom trim is matte so it matches

I had my door handles and trim vinyl wrapped. Perfect match and only cost $120 total. Will try to post some pictures later just got the car back from adding coilovers and new wheels/tyres.

Needs a good clean
