Hhmmm..if i have a catted downpipe..do you think it’ll be loud too?
I've got the Remus exhaust with the PRL catted downpipe and Remus Front pipe. With the valve 0% open (fully closed), it is nearly as quiet as the stock exhaust. At 100% open its quite loud. I drive with 30% open most of the time - this setting is still plenty loud to give you the performance feel but without being obnoxious.

If I use the PRL front pipe with this, will it still be 3 inches all the way? I know that some exhausts have step down connectors that you have to use if you're not using their specific front pipe.

There is a minor step down as it is a flange. Remus will recommend their front pipe for smoothest flow.
