Being the old man that I am I remember when some dealers used to rivet metal plates on the car with the dealership info. :nono:

You're not that old. I used to spend a quarter to open the newspaper stand, take all the papers out and then sell them for 50-cents each. 1000% profit. Okay, it was illegal but I was ten.

They placed it on my car after I decided to purchase it, but before I picked it up. Even worse, they spelled the name of the dealership incorrectly. I told them that the car was not in the state that I agreed upon, so they agreed to remove it right then.

I always state that I do not want any stickers from the dealership.

Even the Honda "TURBO" will be peeled off the I pick her up, IIRC there's three?

I wrote my salesman a few days before picking up my EXT (which was still in transit) and told him not to put any dealer stickers/license plate frame on the car.....surprisingly he actually followed through with my request.
