If it's a vinyl sticker like they usually do, you use the same technique you would with vinyl pinstripes. The best way is to heat it up with a blow dryer like yansag said, then use either a credit card or a plastic razor blade to peel up on one corner and start peeling it off, using the credit card to push it along.
Trying to remove it by using a solvent is going to take forever for the solvent to penetrate through the entire adhesive layer, it's going to make a mess the whole time in terms of partially dissolved adhesive migrating around and solvent stains. Peeling it off with heat is cleaner.
The sticky residue left behind you can remove with rubbing alcohol, acetone or lacquer thinner will get rid of the sticky residue much faster.
Body shops use eraser wheels to remove decals but you probably don't have one and I find they leave marring and hazing on the surface. They are fast though.
