Hate and jealousy from older models is strong.
No hate at all! I've been loving mine since I bought it new on May 11th this past year. And every year there are improvements made. I'd rather build my car myself to suit my needs rather than buying another car that I'm going to change around anyway. You do what works for you!

Have you found anything on the bushings yet? I’m looking for a total cost of control arms and bushings to install on my 18. And since the damping system is software, can it be loaded to previous years?
Unsure about the software for dampening. Regarding the bushings, the front and rears are only available as replacement control arms front and rear.

Probably going to sell my Fiesta ST in the next few months to make room for a new '20 Type R to go with my Si and Z06 :headbang:

There's a major bump in price for Canada's 2020
43654$ for 2019 (any dealership website)
45476$ for 2020 (honda.ca)
Both include the PDI and Freight charges. Add 500$ for the Boost Blue.

Anyone know if they fixed the Gear Grinding in either 2019 or 2020?

Thats $1822 plus $500 ($2322 bump) for the Boost Blue here in CDA. A bit more than $695 USD..

It seems from looking at other countries, what we are getting is the equivalent of the 2019 GT with the Honda sensing and most things they are are adding that most of us don't need/want. Although they are paying more than the 1822$ Cad equivalent for their GT version. They seem to pay about ~10% more for the GT version were the 2020 that we are getting is ~4% more.

France charges 640 euros for any colour other than white (~900$CAD).

I checked over 30 countries and Canada is the only one that has the 2020 price and configurator. Maybe they are ahead of the embargo or all the other countries are waiting for their webpage update (most all have the same template).

Wow, makes me want to import from the north. You guys had more standard equipment from 2017 - 2019 too. The two sides are finally equalized in terms of equipment in 2020.

I did look a while back in getting it from the States (for red) but it was higher and then adding the taxes would just blow it out.

For the 2019 model:
Honda.com shows the car at 36300 (48078CAD) vs Canada dealerships at 32960 (43654CAD). That is major difference of 3340, however note that Canadian taxes vary from province and all in 13-15% (except Alberta at 5%) which would eat up all the savings (more expensive after taxes) and still may have to pay your Border/State taxes. It could be a possibility if dealerships are marking it up by 10K. They are not allowed to markup the cars in Canada. I do see many used ones with 10K-20K on them at MSRP.
