Im thinking of getting a few mods for my Civic RS 2018 Hatch, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations of companies to aim for. Im thinking of getting a cold air intake, turbo upgrade and a tuner.

Ktuner / Hondata should be your first performance upgrade (a lot of members go with ktuner). Without it, your other engine performance mods won’t have much of an effect. PRL and 27WON are also dedicated to researching and producing performance mods for the CivicX, and come highly recommended. They are USA based though.

I also appreciate the work MAPerformance has been putting in. Their build thread is a great read showing progression of performance mods

Edit: gah! I have an si, and that's mostly what they have mods for...

Regardless, it's still a great thread

When I eventually get a 2019 Si in the spring, my plan is as follows so far:

  1. Acuity parts- shifter cable bushings, centering spring, rocker upgrade, base bushings and throttle pedal spacer
  2. Maxpider 3D floor mats (if I can't get dealer to throw in a set of OEMs for free..)
  3. Sound deadening in doors, trunk, rear decklid.
  4. Stereo system upgrade (speakers, amp, DSP and a subwoofer)
  5. Upgrade to LED bulbs- turn signals, reverse, interior lights, etc.
  6. Morimoto HIDs for low beams (possibly Morimoto 7.0 projector retrofit as well), will probably do fog lights too
  7. PRL Cobra street intake, power increase is a bonus, really just for sound :drive:
  8. KTuner v1.2 w/ TSP tune probably after the first year of driving. I say that now, but I'm sure I'll cave sooner lol. Just want to give the car a good chance to break in properly and work out any growing pains/kinks as needed
The 'mod bug' is definitely rewarding and a curse at the same time .

It depends on how casual or serious you are!

If you are serious get the Cobra, if you are casual get the stage 1
