SO I took my civic in for 3 recalls... the emergency brake, the 3rd brake light , and the rear side markers, as well as my fuel door wouldn't open anymore (i had to peel back the carpet in the trunk, pull the yellow plastic cable to get it to open, then inside the fuel door flip up the little hook when I wanted it to stay closed.)
It only took the dealer about 3 hours total, one odd thing was when I got back into the car, there were no numbers where the temperature is in either corner, and the head unit was beeping crazily... but they said it just needed time to boot up and reset. The rear 3rd brake light glue failure was funny because I probably gained about 12" x 3" of rear window viewing I didn't have before (apparently it was hanging fairly low.)
My side markers were okay but they replaced them anyway, and now my fuel door closes too.. overall a decent dealer experience. They did say they are starting to see a lot of the fuel door issues so i wonder if that will be the next recall?
