Rear fog light

2016 HONDA CIVIC, 2015 JEEP RENEGADE
Another boring weekend so i replaced a bulb in my tail light. Just like those BMW's and MERC's left light. More visible at night time. Since I only do reverse maybe 5-10% of the time so i changed the left clear reverse light bulb to red LED's and tapped the reverse light wires onto the park lights.

Isn't this illegal in most states?
Its not as bright as you think like when we step on the brakes. Its like a regular park light. Been doin this for 9 years with my other cars and no tickets. Maybe im just lucky. Lol

Just what i wanted. The closer they get, the slower i drive. :drive:
As long as you're not in the left lane, all the power to you.

You can still do that without an annoying light that's on all the time though. European cars with rear foglights always have a separate switch for them.
