So I went ahead and attempted my first rear brake pad and rotor change and the caliper bracket bolts must have been put on by the hulk. They would just not budge. Does anyone by chance know how much space is in the wheel well from the caliper to the top of the wheel well? i'm thinking of getting a breaker bar, but I didn't think to measure the space when I had everything off. I also need to find a torque wrench that will fit in there.

Or any other ideas on how to get those damn bolts off?

Thanks

If you can get the car high enough then it won't matter about clearance in the wheel well for the bar. Loosen from below and you only need a small bit of movement on the bar before you'll be able to undo it with a ratchet.

And they should be soaking in penetrating oil right now.

Thank you for the replies! I've picked up some PB Blaster and a breaker bar hopefully this gets the job done tomorrow.
