Today I installed the fake vent replacements by Top1 Motors. Keep in mind you don’t have to remove the bumper to do this job, but for ease of working I just did it. By the way the only reason I did this is because I hated the fake oem’s. I like they way the new ones look much better. I was going to do a write up on how to do the whole job, but I’m too lazy now, so here’s pictures.

Cool. Do they make one without the 5 holes? If they do, I’m thinking of plasti-dipping that piece white to clean up the rear bumper.

Wow. That makes a wild looking car even wilder looking. Nice job.

Do you have a wide shot showing both vents installed on the car? Curious to see how it looks.

Solid "Blue" would look a lot better IMHO -- I would do that -- but each to their own...
That's the beauty of the Civic line -- you have so many options to customize the basic look, to whatever you want (and can afford) :)

example:

In solid color to match the car, they look a lot smaller and less "FAKE"

Much better. Can you create red version of the fake vents to match the red reflectors beside them?

Really surprised there hasn't been a rear bumper replacement for the Type R yet

You can do just about anything in PHOTOSHOP !!!
I just did the mock up to see what it looked like, and was surprised just how well it minimized the UGLINESS of the False events !!

Blue Kevlar/carbon weave would look fantastic on the blue! Here are my red kevlar/carbon fronts:

That looks like somethings missing, like an empty picture frame hanging on the wall :)

How did you like the workability of that plastic? :) I found only 1 tool worked well enough to get a decent cut.
What did you use to cut it?

ROFL: Yes, it's all about personal taste...

I would say No Picture in the frame is better than an UGLY picture !!

I used a roto zip, it’s a pretty sloppy cut, but I intend on taking it back apart and putting rubber edging around the edge, and reinstalling.
