for 18x9.5 +38 lowered on whiteline (same drop as spoon/h&r), 265/35 to avoid rubbing/fender mods or 255/40?

255/40 you may rub (depending on which tire you choose) because the sidewall is thicker

your safest bet is 255/35 to avoid rubbing

265/35 can be done without fender mods, just get a rear camber kit

Can this be confirmed again by anybody? I had 255/40/18 on 18x9.5 +38 and I would get a tiny amount of rub after tracking. I'd like to go to a 265/40 if possible but I'm worried it will rub more often. I am on stock suspension
Found some pics of 265/40, changed my mind, too much beef

TE. I bought CE only because I've wanted them since my college days.
I like both designs. Going to order some new tires and probably rock CEs on the driver side, and TEs on the passenger side. Then when I rotate tires, it will be vice versa lol.

Might be a dumb question, but I couldn't find a definite answer on vendor sites etc. for certain.

If the TE37 for the FK8 is generally sold as 18x9.5 +38 and uses a 72.6 -> 64.1mm hubcentric ring, does that also mean the 57DR in the same size (5x120, 18x9.5 +38, my wheels) will also use the same ring? The shop was able to put them on without them and said it was fine, but whenever I rotate my tires to put hubcentric rings on. Looked for exact center bore size for the 57CR or 57DR in this sizing but couldn't find exact specs. For what it's worth, the center caps for 57DR/CR fit without an issue.
I have the 57 DR'S and was told the same thing, but when the wheels were sent to me they sent hub rings and he was well aware it was for an fk8 (he dealt with rays sales for fk8 all the time). So the very first time they were put on I swore they put the hub rings on. I had them powder coated and put back on, had to remove from a wobble (bent rim), I noticed when they took them off and they weren't put on the 2nd time around. He told me hub rings wouldn't even fit if he tried to put hub rings on and he couldn't have put them on the first time because they're no room to. I'm just trying to make sure once my wheels are fixed, they have the proper stuff. Can someone tell me the answer to this as well,

would a 57dr at 19x9.5 45mm offset on 255 35 19 be a problem on stock suspension? or will there be rubbing?

255 on ET45 should be fine. I am running 9.5 ET45 rim on 265/35/18 + lowered and no rubbing
