Anyone else hearing a rattling noise from the rear driver side? I can't pinpoint exactly where it is but it's irritating to hear. It doesn't happen at slow speeds but it comes once you get in the 45mph+ range. Dealer is gonna take a look at it when I can get it scheduled.

Here's a clip for you to hear.

If it were an LX, I'd be thinking wheel cover.

It's an EX-T.

Sounds like it could be the vent flap that exhausts air out of the cabin. Turn the recycled air switch on and off and see if it makes a difference in the rattle noise. Adjust the fan speed up or down and see what happens. Any change in the rattle tells me it could be the flap.

Recycling air and fan speeds don't seem to affect it. I'm starting to think its the capless fuel inlet. It feels a little lose when I wiggle it but I haven't compared to another civic.

What i noticed in my old car that sound is caused by vibrations. In the cabin (where i leave my registration, insurance, and other car documents) i would leave a pen in there or leave my phone in the cup holder and when in high-speed it made that sound. Try moving things around so your phone or any other object in the car would not bang against hard plastic and make that rattle noise you hear.

Hope this helps

I have the Canadain LX and also get that sound at around 80 km/h. The sound comes from around the center compartment where the cup holders are.

I took my car to the dealer last weds and did not hear the noise due to rain. They couldn't hear anything either on the test run. The tech took a look at the car and couldn't find anything wrong but he did tighten a bolt on the undercarriage. I haven't heard the rattling noise since.

I just picked up an EX-T last week and I have this same noise going over 70km/hr, anyone figure out what this is coming from?

Damn IT! I have the same noise coming from passenger door when I hit 65mph and above. I checked for loose change, pens, anything and nothing my C has less than 200 miles!

Anyone found the issue or taken to dealer for this??!?!?

Mines 25+ mph, it's either coming from the rear passenger seat belt tensioner area or the metal brackets under the rear shelf, haven't taken it in yet though

I recently got another civic lx and there's a ticking noise coming from the steering wheel.
