Does anyone else have/know where rattling by the tweeter comes from? It’s usually just when I’m bumping music pretty loud. If I shove a couple fingers in the space between the door and air vent it seems to stop for a brief moment. I think that’s more where the sound is coming from rather than from the tweeters

Check the a-pillar plastic cover. That rattles on mine since I installed hasport 85a motor mount. If I put my hand on it it stops. Havent done anything to secure it better yet.

It’s not a huge deal but there are times when I just wanna fold up a piece of paper and shove it in there lol I don’t care if it’s just temporary

Yeah it's annoying, only happens for me at high idle with cold start.

I pulled the a-pillar covers off and put felt furniture pads on all the high points that make contact with the cover. Seemed to do the trick.

Nice, thanks for sharing that. I was trying to think of what to use.

I can't take the credit. Stole the idea off some dude on youtube, but you're welcome.
Do the covers just pop off if pulled out from the top?

No you have to pop out the tabs and unscrew them first. Then they pop off.
Ahh I didn't even look yet, haha thanks.

Theres 1 screw behind the air bag tab then pull off. I used pipe insulating foam. Any foam or fabric that compresses should work. Don't use paper.

Can someone post a picture of where it was rattling for you? Maybe circle the area that you found the rattling. I ordered new speakers last night thinking I blew mine out but after reading this thread in applying random pressure the rattling stops, but I am having a hard time pinpointing exactly where it is. If this is something that somebody could post for me I would be super grateful!

Lots of posts with no pics

Try the video from this past

Best way to fix the very common A-pillar rattle is to take out the a-pillar and put some padding back there. It’s very easy to take off, i just followed this video here.

Do you hear the noise with the engine off? If so, then the source is probably from the speakers. In that case, it's could be the center speaker, the door speaker, or the tweeter. The center speaker is easy to take off. Just take a plastic trim piece to life it up.
