Fellas,
cant find much info on this, so it might be a stupid question.
As you know the AU ECU's for most of the 8th gen civics are bitches and not supported by tuning solutions.
I have a FN1, and was wondering if its possible to swap out the wiring harness and ECU for a model that is now programmable i.e FN2/FD2 and then re-flash/calibrate the ECU to perform for a R18a2 engine?
Is something like this possible? im new to this and dont really know what you are capable of when reflashing an ECU.
I know its most likely not worth it because the r18 engines are such a bitch to work around. Also, you are probably better off doing an engine swap or just straight up buy a type r and slap a turbo on it but a man can dream of making this his sleeper.
Cheers,
Sorry guys just realised this was a 10th gen forum
