I just ordered a prl catted downpipe for my 2020 civic si was wondering if I will be okay running without a tune as I have bumper to bumper warranty.

You will probably get a CEL and P0420 code for catalyst efficiency. You may or may not have success with a defouler. With a tuning device you can disable the code.

Will the code affect my engine? I don’t want to have problems down the road.

No, it's telling you the cat isn't working/needs replacing, which by factory specs and emissions requirements it would. Nothing harmful except the annoying light.

Did you have any issues with your PRL catted down pipe. My car went into limp mode after install never got it running right. Had no CEL either.

I’m assuming I made the mistake of shorting out a sensor or something else maybe a fuse or electrical. Mechanically everything seemed to go on with no issues. Again I should have disconnected the battery. Car is at Honda being looked at. Hopefully they can fix it. ?

There's no point in running a downpipe without a tune.
