Hi guys/gals,

So I am looking to lease a 2017 Civic Sport Touring Hatch.

What should the reasonable "negotiated" price be for a lease on this car? I have seen people on other sites claiming they negotiated as much as 16-17% off msrp.

Not sure if this is even possible.

If anyone has any valid information they can share I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I think right now is the best time to buy or lease the car. I noticed that most dealer discounted the price below MSRP. Just do the beat down on the price and don't be afraid to walk away if you can't find the car you are looking for.

You might check the tires...

I wish I had asked to swap the stock Conti Procontacts for Conti Extremecontact DWS 06s... but I didn't realize this until after purchase (I researched everything but the tires!). I shopped four dealers and got $300 of MSRP on my EX Hatch back in October, so I think I could have gotten a tire swap for a couple hundred bucks. The Honda dealerships in my area stock those Extremecontacts, which is a great tire for the PNW.

Good luck!

In my experience buying new Hondas, the far left bar on TrueCar's graph for the car you want should be your target. That's almost always more than 15% off MSRP, though it varies some with region and trim level.

I'm pretty sure I got a bad deal. I live in SoCal and just got a Sport touring today. $26,690 before taxes and fees. About $2490 off sticker. Paid cash no financing headaches. It's a white orchid pearl. Was told by the guy who sold me the car that they sold a Sonic Grey Pearl sport touring for $34,000 OTD. That's just ridiculous for an Audi Nardo Grey rip off paint. SGP looks great on cloudy days but it's a weird blue under sunshine. Red or White are the only 2 colors look good under the SoCal sun. Blue is better reserved for the coupe. Black gets dirty too easily and Polished Metal doesn't make the black grille pop. Silver looks a bit bland. Glad I got a WOP :^)

The Sport Touring is incredibly hard to find in Seattle right now. Lots of correspondence through email, but prices aren't far off from MSRP. Maybe their tune will change if I show up in peson?

I'm actually selling my Sport Touring in White with oem JDM red Honda emblems, 35 front tint, 18 rear tint, and a brand new set of Michilen Pilot Sport A/S 3+. It has 950 miles on it. I'm selling it because of some unforeseeable life circumstances and will need the money. Let me know if anyone's interested. I live in San Diego, and you can come down for a test drive if you will. Bought the car for 31,000 if you count in the tint, badges, labor, and tires and willing to let it go for 28,000 flat. Let me know if anyone is interested.
