I am taking my Honda Civic EX (with Honda Sensing package) to a service center this weekend and the most optimal situation would be for them to lock the key in the cabin when they are done with it and I will pick it up on Sunday when they are closed with my spare key. The issue, as you can imagine, is with the smart key. Even when the key is separate from the fob, the car detects it and unlocks at the touch of the handle.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this issue? We'll already be out in that direction on Sunday and we don't want to make a separate hour-long trip on Monday to pick it up, not to mention I'll probably have to take off work to get all the way home, and then all the way back out with my second driver. The only option I can think of is to remove the push to start button (I think I've read they simply pop out?) and only give the physical key to the service center, however I have concerns with trying to pop out the button without breaking it. Any suggestions?
