I've never heard of any issues personally. Even as far back as the S2000.

Never mind push to start, how's your CVT holding up after 2,500 miles?

You do know that push to start (and CVT for that matter) have been in cars for many years and with most manufacturers' cars, right? It's just another way to activate the ignition. It's not exactly new technology that we need to keep an eye on. I suggest you stop worrying over these little things and enjoy your car....it's a great one with incredible value.

The only problem I have with it is the design one. If you are listening to radio or are on a phone call (or other Bluetooth engagement), it is not possible to shut off the engine and continue to listen without interruption. Other than that ludicrous design flaw, it's been great.

Sure there is, just throw it in neutral and pull the e-brake

The only issue I've experienced is that (very rarely) the starter will crank for an awkwardly long time. It has happened maybe 2-3 times in 9 months of daily driving. But I love never having to take my key out of my pocket.
