I was quite surprised myself. After doing a bit of digging, and as mentioned earlier in this thread, this appears to be their third mass injector failure in under 5 years. Why they didn't rotate in another supplier like Denso is beyond me.

I've heard there are still over 2K prepaid orders in queue.

And to clarify, "first come first served" simply means waiting in line after placing a CBO through the dealer.

Do they look any different externally ? Any meaningful change will be internal, just curious.

Here are a couple photos. The kit includes the fuel joint (not fuel pipe) which is strongly recommended to be replaced due to the crush assembly.

The part ID for the injectors is similar but includes an extra 0. To my knowledge, these can no longer be purchased independent of the fuel joint. The sub-part includes injectors, seals, and clips.

You won't find that on eBay as that is the new PN on national backorder. The old PN was 16010-5PA-305. That's what you'd be looking for. Hopefully from a reputable source. A lot of those eBay sellers look rather shady.

Ah yes You're correct.. I saw quite a few of the old injectors up on eBay but like you said they seem to little shady plus you truly dont know the quality you're getting. Could have been used 100 miles or 100,000 mi 🤷🏾‍♂️

Anyone know where to order from that is the cheapest/ most reliable for the new injectors ? I feel like I might as well put myself on the waiting list since I'm already at 66k miles. I imagine it's just a ticking time bomb at this point

Had one of mine go bad @ 132K miles at the end of June. Waited a little over 4 weeks for a replacement set to come it at the dealer. Dealer was 1,156 in line on the back order list in early July. Got my car back in early August.

Update: 9/1/23
Got my car diagnostics tested by my local honda specialist for p0219F code and he concludes it's the injectors.

He told me the revised injectors from Honda are about 3-4 day arrival from ordering today. Pretty much said the backorder isn't bad anymore.

~$600 for the parts: Injectors and Pipe Joint
~$420 in labor

Called my other local shop to see if the price in labor is fine and he says it's a good deal for it being about a 4 hour job. I'd do this myself if I was more patient and had all the tools.

Hoping to not run into any issues with this car for the next 4 years. or else I'm getting an s2k

If additionally your fuel trims look bad, it's likely an injector issue.
Interesting. I replied to your message about that code with this answer a few weeks ago.
