PSA: Lock Doors When Going Through Car Wash

The car wash flung my gas tank door open and bent it back so far that it left a dent on the body. Just something to look out for.

I had to pay at a machine so I'm pretty sure I opened the door to lean out the window a little more. From that point I probably wasn't going fast enough to the them to lock.

Yes. It was done by a vertical brush like one of these.

Those brush car washes are horrible. Think of the grit and grime on those brushes rotating against paint? Good luck with the fix.
