I still want to see what a 10th gen civic valves look like with or without the catch can. I have had one for 20k miles and hoping it is doing the job..Something tells me they weren't driven in the exact same conditions. Run two exact same cars on like a dyno for 100,000 miles and then show me the results.
Let me guess, Full Race also sells catch cans...
This is the worst reason I have heard for getting a 158hp/138wtq engine over a 174-205hp/162-192wtq engine from the factory.this is why i opted for the 2.0L engine. Port injection, no catch can needed.
This is interesting, yet I recall seeing posts showing how much oil and water so and so owner's catch can on their DI CivicX engine caught.Catch cans ftw, especially for DI engines and boosted ones
Edit: turns out the 1.5T has an air oil separator built into it's PCV system! No need for an OCC for these engines! https://www.civicx.com/threads/mape...-system-catch-can-testing-observations.31076/
