I read that stage 1 isn't compatible with stage 2?
If stage 2 is adding different intake box, yet not compatible with the stage 1 piping,
Is there any reason why I should get this instead of waiting?

Some people don’t want to pay for full intake and airbox replacement but a step up in improvement.

Guess I’ll have to buy this now and sell it later when I want to upgrade.
The price is attractive especially at the sale price.
I was hoping it would be compatible :dunno:

I just returned from installing mine and It was actually not that bad. The price is on point and I am very impressed with the quality, but I expect nothing less from PRL. I did contact PRL awhile back and they are still in development for stage 2... If it doesn’t match up with stage 1 then I guess that’s okay. Here are some of the benefits, granted these were on my all seasons so I couldn’t get the full extent.
- I noticed there was more throttle response above 2400 rpms, more “touchy” is the word
- Below that in higher gears, 3rd and higher, it was the same.
- It defitely felt more powerful in the upper rpms, especially 2nd gear, I was making the tires spin haha, 3rd and 4th felt like it wasnt struggling up top as well.
- I really didn’t notice any difference in noise, so don’t buy this if your into the louder intake noise.
- no check engine lights or anything like that when it came on.

Got this on the car last Friday. In my car anyway the sound of the blow off is much more noticeable vs. stock. I had both the silicone hose and the drop in filter installed. I'm also running KTuner Stage 1 (I mention this because I had a PRL intake on my previous '18 SI and with / without Hondata it made a big difference in the sound).

I kept telling them and anyone that asked that it wouldn't fit properly...I don't even have eventuri, but I have a set of eyes, lol...you can plainly see the eventuri uses a smaller attachment...so the PRL would be too long...well, fast forward to now, I see eventuri users complaining how they have to trim 2" off the prl tube. Not sure why PRL said it would fit when they never actually tried it.
