It could have been a bent heat shield. I did not need to drill anything out.

It may vary. Bending it would not have correct for a hole too small.

Yep. Nothing you can do if a hole on the oem shield is too small.
Not too small in my own words(per say), but too small on the oem shield... in regards to where the PRL DP didn't align with the OEM shields holes. As stated though, it does work and should for anyone as if the holes are off or anything is bent, it's fairly easy to correct.
Hole alignment with bolts is critical...proper contact and friction produced in that scenario. :spaz::innocent::hmm:
