Bumping an oldie but a goodie to ask a question:

I can't recall the color of our filter for the stage 1 intake. I thought it a Green brand filter but it was blue and the charge kit that goes with it matches the element color. It was blue, right? I figure I'll clean it my next oil change which will be here in the next couple months.

That is correct, the recharge kit will be color indicated (Blue, Green, Red). You will want to get the color that matches your filter element. :)

Our friends over at Silver's North America built us one badass set of coilovers for our shop's record-setting 10th Gen Civic Si in an effort to help send this car down the track smoothly.

As many of you may have noticed, our Civic (like many others) was experiencing some pretty serious suspension bounce launching off the line and during shifts with our factory shock/strut and lowering spring combo. This wasted suspension movement/energy becomes rather costly when it comes to racing and 1/4 mile times. The factory shocks/struts simply can't keep up with the accelerated forces and motions of our 600+ horsepower setup, so we reached out to a few different manufacturers to help us solve these issues.

We expressed that we wanted to be able to control the suspension with compression and rebound adjustments, not by an overly stiff spring setup. The only way to accomplish this was with a double adjustable coilover setup. Silver's NA immediately came up with a solution for us and surprised us with a speedy turnaround. We are excited to see what we can accomplish with this new suspension setup, among other things!

We have some big changes coming for 2020 with our shop’s 2017 Civic Si in an effort to raise the bar even further.

Thus far we’ve had great success with the factory ECU, using both KTuner and Hondata, achieving 10 second passes on both and laying down a best of 617.62 horsepower and 520.53 ft/lbs torque. We are confident that there was a bit more room left on the table to push things with our previous setup, especially given the fact that our quickest/fastest passes were nowhere near full power potential. However, continuing to utilize the factory ECU at this point will only hold us back from discovering this platform’s true potential. For this reason we knocked the dust off of the MoTec M142 ECU that’s been patiently awaiting this very moment. We’ve also built a custom supporting harness and installed any sensors we could ever need to provide data for racing and product development.

We have swapped out the Garrett GTX2860R GEN2 for a GTX3076R GEN2, the largest compatible turbo in our Big Turbo Kit. Our Port Injection Kit will finally get to be utilized with the MoTeC ECU, and will be used to take full advantage of this 3076 turbocharger.

One thing to keep in mind for big power is that there is always the chance for big failure(s). CNC Werx has supplied us with a few backup Cylinder Support System High Horsepower reinforced cylinder blocks. Again, we will be using JE 10.3:1 compression pistons in this backup motor. This time around we will be using Saenz Performance Series connecting rods, which are rated to 900 horsepower.

A few months back we supplied Bisimoto with a cylinder head for testing and to develop camshafts. We are excited to put these prototype cams to the test and see what kind of data we can collect!

Suspension and chassis mods such as ceramic rear wheel bearings and the addition of Silver’s double adjustable coilvers should help send this car down the track much more efficiently.

Stay tuned for more pictures, results and information!

Can't wait to see the results. Good stuff! :)

Dose the company that makes the cams officially offering them yet?

Any chance we'll see a complete plug and play port injection kit, for us factory ECU guys, at some point? Fuel is the limit im at now

Sounds like snow white is going full send! With all these additions I wont be surprised if it hits mid 800s for hp. Might soon hit the limit of what the transmission input shaft can handle. Or the axles...

As far as we know, this is the only set of cams in existence. We plan to use these to collect data for Bisi and see how everything works together.

At this time we have no plans to offer a complete PNP PIK. We are not a fan of piggyback controllers, which is why we utilized nitrous instead of PIK on the stock ECU. Unless some sort of better control is implemented with stock ECU, we most likely will not offer a full kit. Customers can still piece together their own system, though.

We're shooting for the stars here. We expect to see some more limitations and already anticipate a low-revving 1.5L engine to cap out rather low, but 750+ should be feasible. Now to figure out what to do with the transmission...

Were there any fuel system upgrades you had to do to run, which I'm assuming is a wet kit? Or you just piggybacking in the OEM fuel line for the fuel solinoid?

Single nozzle or 4 port nitrous?:D

Sorry for all the questions! Just trying to figure out my options for getting over the fuel limitations.

Hopefully we see some positive results! The jumper harness came from Boom Slang; super nice piece!

Eh, we would debate this, but to each their own. :p

No need to apologize, we're always here to educate!

We we built and utilized a fuel cell (in addition to the factory tank/sending unit), in-line filter, FPR, -6AN PTFE Lines, etc to make use of our single nozzle wet nitrous setup. We always knew that the end game plan was to make use of our port injection kit and knew that we would need these fuel system mods anyways, so we figured might as well take an easy old-school approach to this until then.

Pretty much built a whole new fuel system haha.

Well I already have the meth setup for M1. I might as well use that for my fuel supply. I really wouldnt push nearly as far as you guys. I promised myself to stop at 450-500hp. Think the gtx2860r would be up for it. Or would I need to up to a gtx2867r.
