Thank you for the update

Do you think you will have any bundle deals when it is released? Like paired with turbo inlet pipe and/or charge pipe upgrade
You're welcome!

We do not plan to offer any bundle deals at this time.

Even though it may seem like the world is ending, production on our P600 Turbocharger Upgrade for the 2017+ Honda Civic Type-R 2.0T (2018+ Accord and 2019+ RDX) has not stopped. Here are a few more pictures of one of our production-quality, prototype units that we will be testing within the next few weeks once the stainless steel turbine housings arrive.

Our current ETA for release is this summer of 2020. Pricing to be released soon!
Who’s excited for this 600 horsepower potential drop-in turbo upgrade?

Any plans for fuel or is this supposed to work on stock system? I would think an ots KTuner or Hondata map would be out at launch, otherwise I don't see it reaching a lot of people.

It will work on the stock system, just not to it's full potential. (which you would need a built engine for anyway to be safe) With their earlier prototype they managed to get 470hp on 100 octane. This redesign is more efficient, but we'll see in the coming weeks when they throw it on the dyno.

I'm just hoping I can get at least 450 on stock fueling 93 octane.

Fuel system was the question. I haven't seen anything PRL is doing that would back this minus the flex fuel kit. Question was, ots map to get home or fueling addressed with installation. (were either going to be available at launch) Yes, built engines are usually stronger but that wasn't my question.

I've watched on youtube that someone built there Type R engine and all in was $25,000

50,000 + 25,000 = 75,000

Now dont get me wrong I would love to run a 500whp Type R lol but theres a 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman S with 11,000km for $75,000!!!!

Used M2C is a little cheaper hovering at 70,000 as well.

Handles better than the Type R
Can put the power down from a dead stop
Rear engine

I'd rather just trade in my Type R for the Porsche at that point

(Type R cost $50,000 CAD up here after tax)

If I had bought used than it would of made sense as you can get a used type r for about 35k + 25k is 60,000, still a lot but easier to swallow than 75,000

That pricing sucks; I paid 36OTD in early 2018. Also, I know from experience on track that Type R with basemap is a lot faster around a track than a 718 Cayman S...so if lap times are your goal, you are better off with the Type R. I do agree, with your conclusion though, there are definitely "better" cars for $75k (especially now that the C8 exists). Although, even the C8 would struggle against a Type R putting 500hp to the ground unless it had some extensive mods.

What? It doesn't take 25K to "build" this motor. Please trade your car if you actually think that's normal for it. And who's paying 50K USD for their car now? Maybe at launch some suckers but most are able to get one for at sticker and/or under it.

Yikes, he even put CDN after the $50,000. 50,000 CDN= $35,706 USD right now with our shitty dollar.

You can have 4Piston do a fully built race motor for $8300 (add $4800 if they supply the core)

Yeah, saw that down under the initial post, thanks. NTL 17K for a build? no.

Problem is the OP is stating in currency other than USD (not a "problem", just should be noted at start of post). Even so, ~17K+ is way to much for a motor build.

Yeah, unless you are going crazy with it I agree! Should be able to put down great power safely well before that.

Dont forgot Hondata's $2800 fuel system upgrade + bolt ons

After that maybe you'll need to upgrade your wheel setup, rear motor mount, and maybe an anti lift kit to all help get as much power down to the ground. And you'll still not be able to put all the power down unless you're already at high speeds or have have drag tires, but now you're sacrificing handling.

So maybe you'll need two sets of tires, or cut down on power, but you've spent all this money and cant utilize the full potential of you're new parts.

You can see how crazy expensive this can get even for you US folks.

And this isn't some Type R bashing, it's taking a step back, looking at the costs and comparing at alternatives to see if its actually worth it. TO some it might be, and to some it's not, which is totally fine.
