Ever since I’ve properly applied blue loctite the bolts haven’t gone anywhere. Been about 4 months. Temps in my area have been blistering hot to below freezing. Bolts have held.

Just curious...was this something PRL instructed users to do with their kits?

So originally I don’t remember seeing loctite in the instructions, but later did after the “issues” people reported and having my own bolts back out. Maybe I read to fast or had a beer too many.

dude you totally need to get one
yeah, got that injen one instead. I almost got the PRL, but I didn't care for the intake tube I had from them...then saw these issues popping up...figured I'd give injen a chance

i think he got the new injen one iirc from his instagram posts. :(
i would have never given injen another chance after their fail design.
Lol, I almost didn't get it, but figured I'd give it a chance, so far so good, no issues at all and imo, makes up for their mistake. Although...I literally can not hear it at all lol

Now they changed the date to 1/3/20.
looks like its delayed a little bit longer, that's the way it goes sometimes. holiday season combined with busy shipping times, and vendors that have parts on back order or out of stock. it's a domino effect really.

Thanks for keeping up with our progress everyone, as stated above, between holidays and shipping delays from our freight company, we are at the mercy of our supply chain and are awaiting our final component to come in before we can process, quality check, and then ship them. We do appreciate our customer's being patient!

I was missing 3 fasteners. Used some spare bolts I have. Pretty sure they were 10-32 screws which are not metric. Went in with no issues. Added blue loctite to all.
