Yes that’s a stupid comment because you know the very reason why I don’t want those kind of intakes anymore... :rolleyes1:

Everyone has their own tastes

No offense to PRL but if it looks like the 1.5T intake then I’m not interested lol.
We know some people prefer Style over Performance.... However we are a performance first company.
The type R intake will not look the same as the si, but if it does it will be because of performance. The type R factory air box is very good, especially with the air duct in the grill which draws cold air.

Fairly noted, my post wasn’t mean’t to throw any shade at PRL Motorsports or 1.5T owners.

Definitely has a “clean” look to it than the other FK8 downpipes.

Is there any problem on the fk8 if i run a downpipe with or without a ports cat with the second Oxygen sensor ? it the dasch showing a MIL because of incorrect cat?
And will the engine get a failure like maybe "boost pressure high peeks" like the german cars do (Golf 7r,Seat Leon Cupra so on and so on )
Kind regards

Any info on the intake? I want to wait for this one but I'm really tempted to buy the mishimoto intake.

As the factory airbox is well design, any update on the high-flow drop-in air filter and silicone intake hose? I only saw the K&N filter on your site. But I prefer a PRL brand:p
