It's nice to see some local guys on here as well, thank you! BTW, if you have a CVT car, we will be needing one for a day within the next week or so. If you are interested, please send us a message or give us a call.Excited for this for my EX-T - Even better that you guys are a local shop! Keep up the great work.
Ask and you shall receive! Data, dyno numbers and sound clips from our Cobra Cold Air Intake system is finally here!
We should be releasing an ETA and pricing on the FMIC within the next few days, everything is pretty much finalized. This project, due to quite a few hurdles, will most-likely be another week or two behind. We had to make a major change to the design last week that we are keeping under wraps until we can make sure that it is cost-effective. Once we can guarantee this, pictures, pricing and ETA will be released. I don't think anyone will be upset with this change, it will look pretty baller! My wallet has been ready lol any date available yet for ordering?
We will find out! Can't wait to see how the Race version tests out after seeing how well this one worked!!!
The CAI will not affect the location of the factory BPV. We do not worry about hydrolock. Our team has debated a SRI, but the time and money to introduce an inferior SRI doesn't seem to outweight the simplistic, cost-effective gains of our Stage 1 intake system at this time.Curious about the filter placement. Will the CAI work with a bypass valve? Or is it in a position so there is no worry about hydrolock? Just curious if there is a short ram in the works too with similar results, or there would be too much heat soak to develop a short ram.
Didn't realize there was a factory bypass valve. THAT being said, waiting patiently to give you my moneyThe CAI will not affect the location of the factory BPV. We do not worry about hydrolock.
